This piece was brought to my attention by my very good friend Benjamin Rauhala while picking material for this concert. Afterwards, I couldn't get it out of my head for days and the lyrics and music are still some of my favorite that I've ever sung. John Bucchino is amazing.

"So Smile" is from the award winning musical Spot on the Wall by Kevin Jaeger and Alex Mitchell. I was lucky enough to originate the role of Laurel for the 2015 NYMF production, after which it has received several incarnations. This is one of my favorite songs from the piece!
